We think that our role is to create thought of people, idealizing it and the thing that it is hard to express by the words as architecture. Culture such as music or the art developed in all parts of the world simply because there was the thing which we could not express by the words. The feelings to music or art vary by the situation that person each was placed in. Architecture is the same like that, too. When you want to be immersed in sorrow alone, or when you want to share happiness with some people, it is our long-standing object if we can make open-minded architecture kindly embracing all. When we are able to achieve it, architecture can improve your life. It leads to its making happy society. I believe that.

We have traveled from east to west, from ancient times to today, and experienced culture, nature, spirit. We have been involved in work of historical architecture. I have visited many places, and realized that there are a place and space playing sounds. On the other hand, there is the space that cannot make the waves of sounds. I have feeling into architecture or place that was loved people, and made carefully, kind of living thing. They sometimes play bright music, or they sometimes play sad music, because they are living thing like human. However, their tone sits on people gently and encouragingly.

The architecture must be poetic for people, place, and earth.
